Doha Convention Center & Tower Project (2B/3B+G+110 Stories)

Ammico’s scope of work included the design and installation of diaphragm walls, excavation, dewatering, and piling works.

The major quantities and activities executed under this scope included the following:

    • > Construction of diaphragm walls, 800 mm thick and 12 m to 17 m deep, with a total length of 1,600 m
    • > Installation of removable ground anchors
    • > Installation of 900 mm diameter bored piles, 10.5 m to 15 m in length (2,030 nos.)
    • > Installation of 1,500 mm diameter bored piles, 25 m to 34 m in length (104 nos.)
    • > Excavation works with a total volume of approximately 1,172,109 cubic metres, including disposal
    • > Provision of two- and three-level basement excavations
    • > Maximum excavation depth of 25 m in the tower core area
    • > Installation and maintenance of a complete dewatering system
